Kandace J. “Kandi” Lucas-Roe, age 63 of Caldwell, Ohio went to be an angel on Saturday August 7, 2021 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born August 3, 1958 in Zanesville, Ohio to David and Anna Robinson-Lucas. She was a 1976 graduate of Shenandoah High School. She loved cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. There was never a day that went by that she thought of herself. She was always putting everyone else before herself. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She loved looking at all the lights and decorations. She loved looking at her tree with all the lights and ornaments. She was preceded in death by her father David Lucas, a sister Lori Lynn Lucas and a nephew Joshua Archer. She is survived by her mother Anna Lucas, her daughter Ashley (Robert) Cole and her companion of 35 years Dana Smith and three grandchildren, David (Putter), Robbie and Annie Cole; three sisters and three brothers and their families; also three aunts and several nieces and nephews and cousins. No calling hours will be observed; an inurnment will be later. Rest in Peace Kandi, and keep an eye on your grandchildren; they miss their Mamaw dearly.
