Thelma E. Piatt Fogle

Thelma E. Piatt Fogle, age 98, of Caldwell, Ohio died Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Altercare Summit Acres in Caldwell.  She was born September 10, 1927 in Caldwell, daughter of the late Wilburt H. “Burt” and Delcie F. Feldner Bonar. Thelma was a graduate of Elk Rural High School and a faithful member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Caldwell. Over the years she had attended Crum Ridge Church of Christ and Summerfield Church of Christ. Thelma was a beloved mother and homemaker.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband, Donald R. Piatt who died in 1997; her second husband, Clarence E. Fogle who died in 2013; one son, Ronnie D. Piatt who died in 1972 and one brother, John E. Bonar.

Surviving is her son, Don E. (Karen) Piatt of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Gregory A. (Ellie) Piatt of Huber Heights and Melissa Dawn Toole of Middletown, Maryland; one great-granddaughter, Kaya Leigh Piatt of Huber Heights; and two nieces, Kathleen T. Swisher of West Virginia and Sheila K. Cenker of Akron.

Friends may call Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street in Caldwell, where the funeral will follow visitation at 1:00 p.m. with Brent Smith officiating.
