Paul I. Heddleson

Paul I. Heddleson, age 89, 0f Cumberland, Ohio, died Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Altercare Summit Acres in Caldwell.  He was born December 19, 1936 in Noble County, son of the late John and Geraldine Heddleson.  Paul was a retired self-employed roofer having owned and operated Heddleson Roofing for many years.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Delores Heddleson; his second wife, Juanita Heddleson; three daughters, Joann Glidden, Paula and Maryann Heddleson; four sons, James Mark, Thomas, Donald and Jeffrey Heddleson; several brothers and sisters.

Surviving is one daughter, Anna Marie (Jason) Henning of Zanesville; three sons, Paul (Sue) Heddleson, Jr. of Cumberland, Wayne Anthony “Tony” Heddleson of Sunbury and David Heddleson of Dayton; one brother, James “Jimmy” Heddleson of Cleveland; his significant other Irene Cobb of Sarahsville; his beloved Terrier Mix, Chi Chi; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, in Caldwell.  The funeral will be observed Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home with Ken Perkins officiating.  Burial will follow at Dudley Cemetery.   An online guestbook may be signed at www.mcvay-perkins.com.
