Thomas Eugene Mikes

Thomas Eugene Mikes, age 59, of Summerfield, Ohio, passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026 at his home. He was born April 3, 1966 in Springfield, Ohio, son of Benny Mikes and the late Linda J. Pierce Mikes.

 Thomas was a 1984 graduate of Shenandoah High School in Sarahsville, Ohio. He served his nation as a proud U.S. Marine. Thomas enjoyed hunting, guns, knives, motorcycles and making model airplanes. He loved kids, pets and would give anyone the shirt off his back. Thomas greatly loved his pets, Milo and Cheepers.

 In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Sarah Mikes and stepsister Cheri McMasters.

Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his father Benny (Linda I.) Mikes are his daughter Linda Riski of Dexter City, Ohio; grandchildren Zeke, Rosalie and Luka; brother Steve (Melissa) Mikes of Hendersonville, Tennessee; sisters Lea Mikes and Gloria Mikes all of Marietta, Ohio; stepbrothers Carson (Tueresa) Spence and Brian (Liza) Spence; nieces and nephews Benjamin, Ilsa, Jesse, David, Erica, Zev and special nephew Mikey. He is also survived by many uncles, cousins, step-nieces and nephews. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Private services will be observed by the family. Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
