Kenneth H. Clinger
Kenneth H. Clinger, age 74, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at OhioHealth Southeastern Medical Center in Cambridge. He was born March 1, 1951, in Byesville, son of the late Clarence E. and Velma Jean Noble Clinger. Kenny mowed yards in Cambridge for a time and worked for amusement companies at festivals and fairs for many years. He attended the Caldwell Free Methodist Church and was an active member of the Noble County Senior Citizens. Kenny collected matchbox cars, loved walking and attending demolition derbies. He was an understanding guy who loved everyone.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Jimmy Clinger; his father and mother-in-law, Robert and Donna Sayre; and his brother-in-law Michael Sayre.
Surviving are his wife, Carla J. Sayre Clinger, whom he married May 24, 1997; several brothers and sisters; sisters and brothers-in-law, Cathy (Tim) Bond of Caldwell, Donna (Jeff) Keith of Cumberland, Robert (Carolyn) Sayre, Steven Sayre and Jim (Nancy) Sayre, all of Caldwell; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Friends may call Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street in Caldwell where the funeral will follow visitation at 3:00 p.m. with Ken Perkins officiating. An online guestbook may be signed at www.mcvay-perkins.com.
