Doreen C. Clark
Doreen C. Clark, age 74, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Saturday, April 25, 2026, at her home. She was born February 23, 1952, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, daughter of the late Cecil E. Schob and Dorothy Jean Garrett Schob West. Doreen attended Caldwell High School, had owned and operated the Elm Tavern in Dexter City, worked at the D&E Drive Inn in Macksburg and retired as Head Start Director for GMN in Caldwell, with over thirty years of service. She attended the Reinersville Community Church. Doreen was an avid reader who enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Doreen was a kind and loving soul.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by an infant son, Shawn Michael Koval; a son Josey Lee Clark, who died July 13, 2014; four sisters, Wilma Jean Russell, Tina G. Schob, Linda L. Gebhart and Vicki L. Clark; one brother, Kevin E. Schob; a half-brother, Charles Schob; and a son-in-law, Dusty Wilson.
Surviving are her children, Shannon C. Wilson of Delaware, Billi Jo (Craig) Clark of Reinersville, Eric K. (Sherri) Koval of Pleasant City and Clinton P. Clark (Nikki Giffin) of Caldwell; one sister, Kelly R. (Doug) Bettinger of Caldwell; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved Black Lab, Baby Girl. The family wishes to thank Absolute Home Health and Hospice and Altercare Summit Acres for their kindness, care and support.
Friends may call Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 4 to 8 p.m. at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street in Caldwell, where the funeral will be observed on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Brad Peoples and Ken Perkins officiating.
