Betty P. Moore

Betty P. Moore, 97, of Barnesville, Ohio (formerly of Summerfield, Ohio) passed away Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the Emerald Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitations Center, Barnesville, Ohio.

     She was born at Summerfield, Ohio on May 9, 1929 a daughter of the late James I. and Minnie Curry Warner.

     Betty was a retired assembler at NCR, Cambridge, Ohio and was a member of the Summerfield Church of Christ near Summerfield, Ohio.

     She enjoyed quilting and spending time with grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; James T. Moore on December 17, 1954; three sisters, Grace Kirkbride; Effie Warner and Dorothy Carpenter; three brothers, Frank, Grant and George Warner.

     Surviving are a son, James T. Moore Jr. and his wife, Mary Jo of Barnesville, Ohio; two grandchildren, James Moore III and his wife Misty of Barnesville, Ohio and Kristen Young and her husband Scott of Barnesville, Ohio; five great-grandchildren, Karley Moore, Laken Young, Kylie Young, Kynzie Young and J. T. Moore.

     Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78, Woodsfield, Ohio from noon until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

     A graveside service will follow in the Eastern Cemetery, Summerfield, Ohio with her nephew, George Warner, officiating.
