Journeyman Lineworker

Washington Electric Cooperative, Inc., seeks candidates for the position of journeyman lineworker.

Performs tasks related to the construction, removal, maintenance, and repair of electric transmission and distribution lines. Will also assist in the construction, removal, maintenance, and repair of substations, reclosers, sectionalizers, and other related outside line equipment.

Candidates must be able to communicate and effectively relay information in spoken and written forms. Must possess a CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and submit to pre-employment and random drug testing.

Position requires the ability to work additional hours as needed; respond promptly to emergency situations upon short notice; lift up to 100 pounds; and meet all requirements of serving on an on-call rotation. Must comply with all company safety policies.
