Darrell A. Watson

Darrell A. Watson, age 82, of Batesville, OH, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2020, at home with his wife by his side. He was born on November 22, 1937, in Noble County, Ohio, the only child of the late Hubert Watson and Wilma (Eagon) Watson.
Darrell attended Beaver Local and moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1957 where he attended The Ohio State University. He was enlisted in the Army National Guard for six years and was honorably discharged in 1966. He was married to Linda (Montgomery) Watson on June 17, 1961. They have one daughter, Cynthia (Watson) Belt.
The family enjoyed travelling abroad due to his achievements in a long career in sales. They also enjoyed attending and watching sporting events such as the Little Brown Jug. Darrell loved to spend time with friends, telling stories and joking around over a meal.
A remembrance celebration will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, OH.
