Elaine enjoyed the simple life of raising her family and taking care of them on she and Scott’s farm in Salesville. As the families Matriarch, she always kept an eye on the work outside and what Lorne was doing. Mama loved being a mother and grandmother more than anything. No matter what, she was always trying to feed her family and every guest that walked through her doors. Mama loved to garden, and she collected so many things. She loved Christmas time and especially opening her presents on Christmas morning! She enjoyed her trips through the country and her many visits to Amish country. Elaine enjoyed going out to eat and she really loved her sweets! She was a member of the Ester Circle and the Salesville Church of Faith. She always looked forward to Sheryl taking her to her Ester Circle meetings. She was always beautiful and never went out without her jewelry, lipstick and matching purse/cane. She will forever be remembered as the light of our lives, the glue that kept us together and the one that kept the boy’s in line. We love you forever Mama.
