David Lee “Buckwheat” Guiler

David Lee “Buckwheat” Guiler, II, age 41, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Tuesday, June 23, 2020, in Caldwell. He was born May 1, 1979, in Marietta, son of David Lee Guiler, I of Summerfield and the late Brenda Lee Leasure Guiler, who died April 11, 1999. He was a 1997 graduate of Caldwell High School and was employed as a truck driver. He enjoyed building cars and competing in demolition derbies.

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Merle and Myron Guiler and Jack and Bernice Leasure.

Surviving in addition to his father are his children, Gabrielle Lee “Gabby” Guiler, David Lee Guiler, III, and Jeffrey Russell Guiler, all of Elba; two sisters, Tana Lee Guiler and Sena Lee Guiler, both of Caldwell; and a special friend, Kay Schafer of Caldwell.
