Charles L. “Chuckie” Teters

Charles L. “Chuckie” Teters, age 69, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. He was born May 8, 1951, in Zanesville, son of the late Charles Woodrow “Woody” Teters and the late Frances Mae Bond Teters Greenfield. Chuckie was a 1969 graduate of Shenandoah High School. He was employed by King Quarries for many years and later by Oxford Mining as an equipment operator. He was known as a hard worker. He formerly attended Ragan’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Belle Valley.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a half-sister, Marlene Teters.

Surviving are his children, Charles William Teters (Theresa Evans), Christina L. Griffin (Nick Grelles), Corissa O. Bird, and Connie S. (Richie) Huffman, all of Caldwell;  4 grandchildren, Casey Teters, Austin Griffin, Travis Connolly, and Shawn Huffman; two step-grandchildren, Taylor and Tasha Huffman; one great-grandchild, Ericson Griffin and one great-grandchild to be born; one sister, Sandy Teters Fogle Moore of Riverview, Florida; and his beloved cat, Boo-Man.

A private graveside service will be observed by the family at Hoskinsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice Care, 27855 State Rt. 7, Marietta, Ohio, 45750.
