Larry R. Wickham

Larry R. Wickham, age 75, of Sarahsville, Ohio, died Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. He was born April 19, 1945, in Zanesville, son of the late Pauline Wickham. He was a 1965 graduate of Shenandoah High School and he was employed by the Ohio Department of Transportation. He retired as a truck driver for the Noble County Highway Department. Larry attended the Sarahsville United Methodist Church and was part of the Coffee Club at the Sarahsville Store. He bled green for Shenandoah High School and he enjoyed attending their football and basketball games as long as he was able to. He enjoyed listening to country music, especially Jerry Lee Lewis, and going to the McConnelsville Opera House. Larry loved spending time with his family, especially the loves of his life: his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his grandpa, Nathan Wickham, who raised him; several aunts and cousins; and his beloved dog, Lucy.
Surviving are his wife, Rosa A. Smithberger Wickham, whom he married May 10, 1969; his daughter, Kimberly Ann (James) Mallett of Pleasant City; three grandchildren, Cody Dean (Michelle) Mallett of Salesville, and Cortney Dawn Mallett and Cole Wyatt Mallett, both of Pleasant City; two great-grandchildren, Corbin Dean Mallett and Nash Melvin Mallett; and several cousins.
