William Robert Pfeffer
William was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the St. Mary’s Church in Temperanceville. He was a Ruritan and involved in the Pennyroyal Opera House. William was a retired coal miner from Quinn Development and loved to farm.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank Pfeffer.
William is survived by his wife, Marie (Clucus) Pfeffer; two sons: Kenny (Barb) Pfeffer and Danny (Mary) Pfeffer both of Quaker City; three grandchildren: Douglas (Rachel) Pfeffer, Ryan (Jaime) Pfeffer and Chad (Amy) Pfeffer; eight great-grandchildren: Hannah, Leslie, William Charles “Chaz”, Phoebe, Abby, Alex, Lily and Rosemary; step-great-grandchildren, Tyler Arick; siblings: Joyce Pachuta and Dennis (Lorena) Pfeffer; and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with COVID-19 guidelines, social distancing and masks will be required for a graveside service on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Batesville Cemetery with Father Dave Cornett officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in William’s name to Hospice of Guernsey County, 9711 E. Pike Road Cambridge, Ohio 43725.
