V. Kathleen Keylor

V. Kathleen Keylor age 83, of Caldwell, Ohio passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at her home. She was born February 22, 1938 in Noble County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Otto and Ida Eschbaugh Carpenter.

Kathleen was a member of the First Church of Christ in Caldwell. She was the first woman president of the Noble County Chamber of Commerce; charter member of the Wheelin’ Sportsmen Handicap Turkey Hunt committee; and the secretary of the Noble County Cruzers Car Club. Many will remember her from her 42 years serving the community at the Farmers & Merchants Bank prior to retirement. She enjoyed golfing and traveling. Kathleen will always be remembered as someone who worked tirelessly for the prosperity of Noble County and its residents.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother-in-law James Horton; and the father of her children William “Bill” Keylor, who passed away March 26, 2000.

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Beth Ann (Corey) Miller of Urbana, Ohio; son Rick (Cynthia) Keylor of Troy, Ohio; three grandchildren, Staci (Justin) Hill, Stephanie (Shawn) Carpenter, and Brian “Joey” (Lisa) Hurd; five great-grandchildren, Jade, Emma, Hannah, Ashton, and Audrey; two sisters, LeAnna Horton of Zanesville, Ohio and Linda Warner of Summerfield, Ohio; brother Dwight (Violet) Carpenter of Summerfield; special friend Virgil “Butch” Davis of Caldwell. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 5 – 8 p.m. at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Father Wayne Morris officiating.
