Larry D. Anderson, age 77, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at SE Ohio Regional Medical Center in Cambridge. He was born September 3, 1944, son of the late Ralph H. and Edna Powell Anderson. Larry was a graduate of Sarahsville High School, where he played varsity basketball. He retired from Globe Metallurgical in Beverly, and he owned and operated Anderson Propane in Caldwell. He enjoyed following the stock market and finance.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Lee Anderson, who died May 26, 2018; two brothers, his infant twin brother, Jerry Anderson, and Clyde R. Anderson; and his longtime companion, Katherine N. “Katy” Riggs.
Surviving are his children, Diane L. Anderson of Columbus and Danny D. (Lisa) Anderson of Gratiot; four grandchildren, Jordy (Sadie) Anderson, Terrence Daniel (Jessica) Connolly, III, Kristen D. Connolly, and Tyler (Megan) Anderson; six great-grandchildren, Titan Daniel Connolly, Macey Sue Mettler, Kynslee Rae Smith, Asher Journey Scott Anderson, Anna Charles Anderson, and Lilliana Elizabeth Anderson; his siblings, Francis Anderson and Donald (Sue) Anderson, all of Caldwell; a sister-in-law, Violet E. Anderson of Reinersville; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A private funeral service will be observed by the family; however, friends are invited to view the service as it is livestreamed Friday, September 24, 2021, at 1 p.m. on the McVay-Perkins Funeral Home Facebook page.
