Dee Ann Lahue, age 74, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Thursday, January 13, 2022, at her home. She was born November 22, 1947, in Cambridge, daughter of the late James E. and Mary C. Rice Brown. Dee was a 1966 graduate of Caldwell High School. She served as the secretary to the superintendent of Caldwell Exempted Village Schools for 42 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be remembered as a loving and caring lady. She will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Edward Lahue, whom she married September 8, 1968, and who died August 30, 2019; and one brother, William R. Brown.
She is survived by her sons, Brian W. Lahue and Kevin E. (Carrie) Lahue, all of Caldwell; her grandchildren, Ethan Lahue and Kate Lahue; her sisters, Linda Sue (Jack) Pinnell of North Carolina, Kathy Jo Brown of Bradenton, Florida, and Mary E. “Beth” (Dale) Phipps of Dexter City; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a family memorial service at a later time. Inurnment will take place at Sharon Cemetery.
