January Marks Largest COVID SURGE IN Noble County During the Pandemic

In January 2022, there was significant increase in reported cases of COVID-19 in Noble County Ohio. This increase marked the largest surge in cases seen in Noble County during the pandemic, with over 650 COVID-19 cases among Noble County residents reported to the Ohio Department of Health in the month of January 2022. This spike in cases has included children only a few months old to adults over the age of 95, with an average age of 38.40 years. The current surge peaked around January 14 and has since declined. Represented in the graph are the number of COVID-19 cases reported daily in Noble County, as well as the average number of cases reported in the last 7 days, called the 7-day moving average.

 

The Noble County Health Department (NCHD) will no longer be posting weekly COVID numbers for our county. This information can be found at coronavirus.ohio.gov and clicking on the COVID-19 Ohio Dashboard and selecting our county. This website also contains all updated guidance and information regarding the COVID virus and vaccine. NCHD will continue to offer all currently approved COVID-19 vaccines twice a week: Mondays from 10a.m.-5:45p.m. and Thursdays from 10-3:45. Vaccines will now be given in the building unless other arrangements need to be made.
