Jason W. Pierce
Jason W. Pierce, age 38, of Caldwell, Ohio, went to be with his Heavenly Father Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the OhioHealth Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born October 27, 1983 in Cambridge, Ohio, a son of Kenneth “Kenny” R. and Tammy S. McKee Pierce of Caldwell.
He was currently the preacher at the Green Valley Church of Christ and the Creighton Ridge Church of Christ. He was also a Deacon at the Main Street Church of Christ. He was a volunteer fireman and first responder for the Belle Valley Volunteer Fire Department. He served the area youth as a Caldwell Junior High Football Coach and was the president of the Caldwell Youth Sports. He was very proud to be employed and a member of the Buckey Disposal Family.
Jason was a family man that truly enjoyed time with them from watching the boy’s sporting events to hunting with them. His fun-loving spirit and smile will never be forgotten. He will always be fondly remembered for his selfless love to his family, his church, his community, and anyone that was in need. In keeping with his selflessness and giving, he gave the gift of life through organ donation.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Ruby L. Roe and Robert (Rose) Pierce.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth “Kenny” and Tammy S. McKee Pierce, those left to cherish his memory are his wife Angela M. Lamneck Pierce, whom he married June 17, 2006; three sons, Ethan Pierce, Grayden “Donnie” Pierce, and Samuel Pierce all of Caldwell; brother Bradley (Colleen) Pierce of Vincent, Ohio; mother-in-law Janice (Bob) Jones of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; father-in-law Steve (Lorie) Lamneck of Cincinnati, Ohio; paternal grandparents Joe “Butch” and Beverly McKee of Caldwell. He is also survived by a large extended family and many friends.
The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, May 11, 2022 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Evangelist Brent Smith and Brad Peoples co-officiating. Burial will follow in Halley’s Ridge Cemetery.
