Kenneth C. “Kenny” Johnson, age 77, of Salesville, Ohio passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 at The James Cancer Medical Center in Columbus, OH. He was born on December 5, 1944 to the late Roy Johnson and Faye Carter Johnson in Barnesville, OH. Kenny graduated from Washington High School in Old Washington in 1962. He was a 4 -H advisor. Member of: American Angus Association, Ohio Angus Association, Eastern Ohio Angus Association. He was a lifelong farmer and angus beef farmer. Kenny retired from Metallurgic Vanadium. Along with being a lifelong farmer he also had worked at American General and Landmark. He was a member of Four Mile Hill Church where he served as a board member. Kenny is survived by his wife Arletta S. (Reed) Johnson of Salesville, Ohio. Three sons: Kenneth Jeffrey “Jeff” (Ethel) Johnson of Salesville, Ohio, Steven (Amanda) Johnson of Lore City, Ohio, Timothy Johnson of Salesville, Ohio. One daughter, April (Wayne Jr.) Miley of Sarahsville, Ohio. Two brothers, Larry Johnson and Randall (Gwen) Johnson. One sister, Linda (Richard) Cox. Eleven grandchildren: Katie (Ed), Carley (Seth) , Elle, Meredith, Samantha, Carter, Sage, Peyton, Aliya, Isaac, Garrett, Three great grandchildren: Ezra, Echo, Darcy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. John Walters and Rev. Mike Buchanan officiating. Burial will be in Salesville Cemetery.
