Kathryn Sara “Kay” Conley
Kathryn Sara “Kay” Conley, age 84, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Thursday, September 1, 2022, at her home. She was born June 27, 1938, in Marietta, daughter of the late Harold and Georgina Shuman Guiler. Kay was a graduate of Summerfield High School. She worked for NCR in Cambridge for many years and later for Hayes True Value in Caldwell. She was a member of the Green Valley Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Homer Conley, whom she married June 22, 2001, and who died May 19, 2014; and one sister, Dorothy (Hobart) Blair.
Surviving are her step-children, Teresa A. Conley of Chapmanville, West Virginia, and Charles W. (Kathy) Conley of Defiance; one nephew, Ronald G. (Valerie) Blair of Lower Salem; one great-nephew, Andrew Blair of Lower Salem; friends and caregivers, Billie Jo (Craig) Clark, with whom she resided; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call Sunday, September 4, 2022, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 2 p.m. with Ken Perkins officiating. Burial will follow at East Union Cemetery.
