Barbara Ann Scott
Barbara Ann Scott, 77 of Cambridge passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023.
She was born January 8, 1946 in Canton, to the late Elmer and Mabel (Feldner) Bettinger.
Barbara was a member of Stop Nine Church of Christ and Golden 60’s. She was a 1963 graduate of Skyvue High School.
She had worked at Ogles Rest in Dexter City and also at NCR, Longaberger, and Colgate.
Barbara was famous for her Texas sheetcake. She enjoyed quilting, woodworking, puzzles, collecting antiques, and restoring old vehicles. Barbara liked the outdoors and loved fishing with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, James, Charles, Stanley; and a sister, Romona Bettinger.
She is survived by her husband James Scott of 53 years, whom she married August 2, 1969.
She was a loving mother to daughter, Karen (Tim) West and sons, Brian (Melissa) Scott and Barry (Jessica) Scott. She had six cherished grandchildren, Cole and Brett Scott, Katarina and Dalton West, Desiree and Danielle Scott.
Also left to cherish her memory is her brother, Larry (Shila) Bettinger; her sister and best friend, Laura (William) Bond; sisters-in-law, Eva Bettinger and Charlotte Carpenter; brother-in-law, Robert (Linda) Scott; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday (March 28, 2023) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville, where funeral services will be held Wednesday (March 29, 2023) at 11:00 a.m. with Evan. Woody Biggs officiating.
Burial will be at Olive Cemetery.
