Stephen M. Hesson
Stephen M. Hesson passed away on December 5, 2022 from a sudden illness. He was born October 5, 1955 in Zanesville, Ohio to Harry Merrill and Esther (Schott) Hesson. He was predeceased by his son, Stephen Anthony, his parents, brothers James M., Gary M. (“Doc”), Ronald G.(“Hap”) Hesson, and an infant sister, Vicky Ann.
He is survived by his daughter, Paula K. Hesson, brother Thomas D. Hesson, both of Caldwell, and sister Kathy J. Woodhull of Berlin Heights.
A 1973 graduate of Shenandoah High School, Steve was a retired Mason, having worked for home builders and other companies for many years. A private family service will be held at a later date.
My brother was very athletic at Shenandoah High. He played football all 4 years, ran track, and he was also on the wrestling team. Sorry I did not include this in his obituary. I also regret not mentioning his good sense of humor and his affinity for whistling. He drove us all nuts when he whistled the song Winchester Cathedral for hours, it seemed.🙂
