A group of railroad enthusiasts formed an organization focused on preserving the history and artifacts of the OR&W railroad. Recently, they added a sign to the caboose at the Thorla -Mckee wellsite so it would look like it did when the OR&W was using the caboose. Future plans include additional projects at the caboose and preserving other cars and items from the OR&W. If you have an interest in railroads this is a great group to join. Just talk to any of the folks pictured or not pictured here.
