Vicki S. Dennis

Vicki S. Dennis, age 68, of Dexter City, Ohio, died Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born March 9, 1955, in Marietta, daughter of the late Elmer and Bonita Brotton Antill. Vicki was a homemaker, and over the years she worked in restaurants, did cleaning work, and was a home health aide. She enjoyed canning and gardening and she was devoted to her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Terry E. Dennis, whom she married March 21, 1979, and who died April 1, 2005; three sisters, Diana Everly, Michelle Antill, and Susie White; and two brothers, Rick Antill and Turk Antill.

Surviving are one daughter, Samantha L. Dennis of Dexter City; a step-son, Michael E. (Rachael) Stuber of Bowerston; two grandchildren, Tara and Ethan Carpenter; three step-grandchildren, Tabitha, Chloe, and Daphne Stuber; three great-grandchildren; her siblings, Gary (Jane) Antill of Sandusky, Greg Antill of Georgia, and Steve Antill of Caldwell; a brother-in-law, Jack White of Germantown; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A private service will be observed by the family at a later time. Memorial contributions may be made to benefit Vicki’s grandchildren at Peoples Bank, 415 Main Street, Caldwell, Ohio, 43724, or to Amedisys Hospice Care, 27855 State Rt. 7, Marietta, Ohio, 45750.     Vicki will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful woman and a kind hearted lady. I’m sure glad I got to see her last time I came to visit.
