Mary L. Barlow

Mary L. Barlow, age 82, of Dexter City, Ohio, died Monday, October 30, 2023, at her home.  She was born August 13, 1941, in Frazeysburg, daughter of the late Gerald Moore and the late Norma Vaughn Moore Reiter and Burt Reiter.  She was a 1958 graduate of Dexter City High School and worked for several years at the D&E Restaurant in Macksburg.  She was a member of the Mary Reed Memorial United Methodist Church in Crooked Tree.  Mary enjoyed crocheting and riding her side by side. She was devoted to her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Donna D. Barnett.

Surviving are her husband, Paul E. Barlow, whom she married in June,1960; her children, Melinda S. Stack (Tom Whittington) of Caldwell and Douglas E. (Cheryl) Barlow of Dexter City; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her siblings, Carolyn (Sam) Besket of Byesville, Jeanne Ann Moore of Newark, Robert (Pam) Reiter of Caldwell, and Mark Reiter of Cambridge; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call Friday, November 3, 2023, from 4-8 p.m. at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral will be observed Saturday, November 4, 2023, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bill Pickenpaugh officiating.  Burial will follow in Dexter City Cemetery.  An online guestbook may be signed at www.mcvay-perkins.com
