The Noble County Republican Committee’s annual Lincoln Day Dinner is this Saturday, April 20 at the Noble County Community Center on the fairgrounds. Social hour kicks off at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m.
The featured speaker this year is Bob Welsh, an inspirational speaker, author, and gifted storyteller. Drawing from a lifetime of experiences which include a tour of duty in the U.S. Navy and twenty-nine years as an Ohio State Trooper, Bob has mesmerized listeners worldwide with his unique style of writing and speaking.
His unconventional stories often bring to light the unsung heroes of unforgotten American history who still speak to us today through Bob’s riveting narratives, with the examples of heroism, virtue, and sacrifice. Bob is also quite well known for his good nature and quick sense of humor which can be seen in some of his lighter stories derived from his own personal experiences with family, friends, neighbors, and hunting buddies.
