Shenandoah Girls are MOVL Champs, Boys are Runners-up

Both Shenandoah and Caldwell ran in the Mid-Ohio Valley League Championships on Monday at Shadyside with three Zeps and one Redskins setting new school records.
The Lady Zeps finished as the MOVL Champions with 137 points, followed by Barnesville with 113.75 and Buckeye Local with 85.75. The Lady Redskins placed fifth with 67.75 points.
Ida Estadt led the Lady Zeps, winning the 1600 with a school record time of 5:34.75 and the 3200 in 12:44.43. She also placed third in the 800 in 2:35.14. Mya Leach finished first in the high jump with a jump of 4-6. Leach was second in the 100 with a time of 13:52 and the 200 in 27.26.
Shenandoah also had two relay teams place first. The 4×100 team of Mackenzie Williamson, Brenna Leach, Kinsley Brown, and Mya Leach set a new school record with a win in a time of 52.48 and the 4×200 team of Williamson, Rachel Haga, Brenna Leach, and Brown won in1:54.73.
Alyssa Crum placed second in the 400 with a time of 1:04.41 and in the 800 in 2:32.95.
The 4×400 team of Abi Reed, Brylee May, Emily Moore, and Crum was second with a time of 4:46.45 while the 4×800 relay team of Kendal Snyder, Abbey Tewksbary, Melina Blubaugh, and Jusdena Clark was third in 12:22.45.
Ella Binkiewicz placed third in the pole vault with 7-6 and Snyder was fourth with 7-0.
Williamson finished fourth in the 200 in 28.38. Lorelei Shaufl was also fourth in the 1600 with a time of 6:08.08 and Jusdena Clark was fourth in the 3200 with 14:27.85. May was fourth in the high jump with 4-4 and Brenna Leach was fourth in the long jump with 14-1.5.
Brenna Leach was fifth in the 100 with a time of 13.85. Lillian Baker placed fifth in the disc with a throw of 84-7.
The shuttle relay team of Liberty McKee, Brown, Williamson, and Rachel Haga was sixth in 1:18.98.
On the boys side, the Zeps were the runner-up with 110 points. Barnesville won the meet with 159 points. Shadyside finished third with 69 points and Caldwell was fourth with 65 points.
Braxton Barnett won three events to lead the Zeps. He was first in the 300 hurdles with a time of 40.02, in the high jump with a jump of 6-2, and in the long jump with a record setting jump of 22-7.5. He was also second in the 110 hurdles with a time of 14.99. Jarrett Wentworth won the 3200 with a time of 10:41.52.
Emmitt Slevin placed second in the 800 with a time of 2:14.36. The 4×800 relay team of Noah McElroy, Christian Dimmerling, Andrew Neff, and Ethan Stritz finished second in 9:36.49.
Josiah Roberts was third in the 200 with a time of 24.64 and Chuck Estadt was third in the 3200 in 11:42.59 and in the 1600 in 5:11.44.
The 4×200 relay team of Ethan Cutlip, Roberts, Jasper Hill, and Gage Schott placed third with a time of 1:40.07 and the 4×400 team of Cutlip, Wentworth, Chuck Estadt, and Slevin was third in 3:54.71.
Jase Noll finished fourth in the high jump with a jump of 5-6 and Kyle Wheeler was fourth in the discus with a throw of 107-9. 
Cutlip placed fifth in the 400 with a time of 57.85. Stritz was fifth in the 800 in 2:25.10.
The 4×100 relay team of Robert Snodgrass, Schott, Hill, and Roberts place fifth with a time of 49.71.
Peyton Forshey finished sixth in the 1600 in 5:28.40. Hunter Rossiter placed sixth in the long jump in 17-3.
Ethan Crock led the Caldwell boys with a first-place finish in the disc with a throw of 147-0 and a second-place finish in the shot with 43-11.
Jase Norman placed second in the disc with a throw of 121-2 and fifth in the shot with 39-0.
Hunter Petry finished third in the high jump with a jump of 5-8.
Chaz Pfeffer finished fourth in the 400 in 57.02, fourth in the 800 in 2:21.39, and sixth in the high jump with a jump of 5-4. Zac Frame placed fourth in the 200 with a time of 24.64 and fifth in the 100 in 12.18. Alex Sheanshang placed fourth in the 1600 in 5:23.06 and sixth in the 3200 in 12:25.85.
The 4×100 relay team of Talon Bettinger, Petry, Dylan Wheeler, and Frame was fourth with a time of 48.95 and the 4×200 team of Jesse Pemberton, Bettinger, Kolby Larrick, and Frame was fourth with a time of 1:41.44.
The 4×400 team of Pemberton, Preston Chandler, Wheeler, and Sheanshang was fifth with a time of 4:01.27. Bettinger was sixth in the 300 hurdles with a time of 47.12.

Gwyn Lori won both the shot and the discus for the Lady Redskins and set a new school record in the shot. She threw the discus 132-2 and the shot 46-3.
Megan Lowe placed second in the 3200 with a time of 13:49.30 and fifth in the 1600 in 6:22.18.
Laurana Lashley was third in the shot with a throw of 35-8 and in the disc with 114-3. Sydney Yurco placed third in the 400 with a time of 1:06.85.
The shuttle hurdle relay team of Heather Dimmerling, Claire Schafer, Jacy Crock, and Aleah Speck was fourth with a time of 1:18.10. The 4×200 team of Jacy Crock, Paisley Sidwell, Kara Pasco, and Hailey Abrams was fourth in 2:07.36.
The 4×400 relay team of Sidwell, Lowe, Ella Bettinger, and Yurco was fourth with a time of 5:08.17 and the 4×800 team of Sidwell, Abrams, Bettinger, and Lowe was fourth in 12:24.57.
The 4×100 relay team of Abrams, Sidwell, Schafer, and Speck was fifth with a time of 56.67.
Heather Dimmerling placed fifth in the high jump with a jump of 4-2 and Speck was sixth in the 100 in 13.86.
