Wayne B. Vincenzo

Wayne B. Vincenzo, age 78, of Sarahsville, Ohio, died Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus. He was born February 2, 1946, in Cambridge, son of the late Adolph R. Vincenzo and the late Lore Karoline Plfeuger Vincenzo Dyer. Wayne was a graduate of Union Local High School. He was a United States Army veteran, having served in Alaska from 1968-1970. He retired as a truck loader from the Mahle Corporation in Caldwell and was a member of the United Steel Workers Union.  He also worked at the I77 South Rest Area and at Detroit Diesel. Wayne attended the Marietta Bible Center Church. He enjoyed working on cars and loved going to favorite coffee shops, visiting, and traveling.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Vincenzo and Randy Vincenzo.

Surviving are his wife, Susan Karen Van Fossen Vincenzo, whom he married June 6, 1971; his children, Brian (Mia) Vincenzo of Reynoldsburg and Olivia (Jonathon) Tolliver of Nashport; three grandchildren, Nicholas Tolliver, Marcus Tolliver, and Tyler Vincenzo; his siblings, Mary Sorg of Sarahsville, Sarah Vincenzo of New Concord, and Grace Vincenzo of Cincinnati; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 1-4 p.m. at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral will be observed Sunday, June 2 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Myron Guiler officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marietta Bible Center Church, 4070 State Rt. 60, Marietta, Ohio, 45750.
