Connie Ann Stiers
Connie Ann Stiers, age 74, of Caldwell, Ohio, died Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Ohio Health Grant Medical Center in Columbus. She was born January 6, 1950, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, daughter of the late Lloyd E. “Dink” and Virginia L. Manion Potts. Connie was a 1968 graduate of Caldwell High School and studied business at Columbus State University. She retired as an executive assistant from the Noble County Health Department following 30 years of service. She was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell and was a founding member and former president of its Catholic Women’s Club. She was also a member of the Noble County Garden Club and the Narcissus Club. Connie enjoyed knitting and baking.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn Potts and Jim Potts; and a sister-in-law, Martha Potts.
Surviving are her husband, Richard W. Stiers, whom she married October 18, 1969; her son, Jeff K. (Misty) Stiers of Marysville; three grandchildren, Tyler (Kendra) Stiers, Daryn Stiers, and Hayden Ropp; one great-grandchild, Ezra Friley; a sister-in-law, Rosella Potts of Pickerington; and several nieces and nephews.

We are sad to hear of Connie’s passing. Connie was always a delight to be with, such a big heart. She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
