Roger Neal Frye

Roger Neal Frye, 77, of Macksburg, Ohio, formerly of Belvidere, Illinois passed away on Wednesday September, 18 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born March 18, 1947 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, the son of Ralph N. and Darlene A. Kjell Frye. Roger graduated from Belvidere high school in 1966 after which he joined the Marine Corps for four years and served in Vietnam. After his service he worked at Chrysler Corp. for 35 years retiring in 2001. He was a member in UAW #1268. Roger is survived by his wife of 55 years Sally A. Carlson Frye, whom he married in May of 1969 in McConnelsville, Ohio. He is survived by two daughters, Laura (Tim) Austin of Loves Park, Illinois and Krystal (Cliff) Shilling of Dexter City, Ohio; two grandchildren, Sean and Aaron Austin of Loves Park, Illiniois; He is also survived by a sister, Ilene “Toni” Wininger (Jim) of Mt. Morris, Michigan and a brother, Darwin (Pamela) Frye of Rockford, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; and siblings, Kristi Frye and Linda Estes.
