Estadt is East District Champion

Ida Estadt finished as the District Champion at the OHSAA East District Cross Country Championships on Satruday and Cambridge High School.

Shenandoah Boys, Clark, Hayes, Shenanshang, and Danford Advance

The OHSAA East District held their Cross-Country Championships on Saturday at Cambridge High School with both Caldwell and Shenandoah competing in Division VI.

Ida Estadt is the District Champion, winning the race with a time of 19:05.00. She will advance to Regionals along with her teammate Jusdena Clark who placed 18th with a time of 22:23.00.

The Lady Redskins Emma Hayes will advance to Regionals with a 14th place finish with a time of 22:02.00.

The Shenandoah boys qualified for Regionals as a team finishing in fourth place with 82 points. Caldwell just missed advancing with a fifth-place finish with 118 points.

The Zeps were led by Emmitt Slevin who was ninth with a time of 18:08.00 followed by Noah McElroy in 11th in 18:11.00 and Joel Tewksbary in 15th in 18:32.00. The rest of the Zeps moving on to Regionals are Brant Stottsberry (30th, 20:04.00), Kaden Rossiter (38th, 20.41.00), Carter Wentworth (40th, 20:46.00), and Landyn Wehr (41st, 20:51.00)

Two Redskins advanced in the boys’ race. Senior Alex Sheanshang placed 13th with a time of 18:24.00 and Aiden Danford was 19th in 19:01.00. Other Redskins finishers were Zane Boyd (25th, 19:25.00), Marcus Rohrbaugh (28th, 19:49.00), and Kaiden Spence (70th, 39:23.00).

Estadt, Clark, Hayes, Sheanshang, and Danford along with the Shenandoah boys team will run on Saturday in the Regional Meet held at Pickerington North High School.
