Robert R. Riski

Robert R. Riski, age 57, of Caldwell, died Monday, October 27, 2025, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.  He was born March 1, 1968, in Zanesville, son of Bernard E. And Dorothy M. Schafer Riski of Caldwell. Robert was a 1986 graduate of Caldwell High School and a 1990 graduate of The Ohio State University having earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. He had also earned two Masters Degrees at universities in South Korea. Robert served as Professor of Linguistics at Miami Dade University in Miami, Florida. He enjoyed bicycling, the arts and spoke several languages.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his brothers, John B. Riski of Caldwell and Michael R. (Coreen) Riski of Zanesville; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces; grand nephews; and cousins.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, in Caldwell.  A Celebration of Life Service will follow visitation at 3:00 p.m. with Rev.
