Harry E. Clark

Harry E. Clark, age 75, of Middleburg, died Monday, November 17, 2025, at his home.  He was born March 4, 1950, in Cambridge, son of the late John C. and Mildred M. Eichhorn Clark.  Harry was a 1969 graduate of Caldwell High School.  He was a member of Sharon Lodge #136 Free and Accepted Masons, the Loyal Order of the Moose #221 in Caldwell and attended the Ogle’s Ridge Community Church.  Over the years Harry had worked building silos, timbering and for Buckey Disposal.  He retired as a driller for B & N Coal Company, with over thirty years of service.  He served several years as a Jefferson Township Trustee.  Harry loved fishing, woodworking, piddling in his workshop and riding around Middleburg, visiting friends and neighbors on his golf cart. He also enjoyed working in the sawmill he built along with his brother Johnny. Harry will be lovingly remembered by his family as a hard worker, who was always there for them, and was willing to help anyone who needed it.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Ann Perkins Clark, whom he married in 1972, and who died in 2023; and his son-in-law, Kurt F. Chandler, who died in 2023.

Surviving are his children, Bryan E. (Jane) Clark of Summerfield, Harry R. Clark (Chelsey Arick) of Middleburg and Melissa J. Chandler of Caldwell; eight grandchildren, Jonathon, Brody and Grace Chandler, Laken Clark, Shawna Potter, Hunter Clark, Cami and Colie Arick; three great-grandchildren, Teagan and Finn Chandler and Colt Willey; siblings, Mike (Cindy) Clark of Caldwell, Johnny (Zina) Clark of North Carolina, Brenda Clark of Caldwell and Sally (Gale) Anderson of Middleburg; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street in Caldwell.  The funeral will follow visitation at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Powell officiating.  Burial will be in Halley’s Ridge Cemetery.  An online guestbook may be signed at www.mcvay-perkins.com.
