Vera M. Ross

Vera M. Ross, age 87, of Caldwell, Ohio died Sunday, May 10, 2026, in Caldwell. She was born June 1, 1938 in Caldwell, daughter of the late Peter and Kathleen Wentworth Robinson. Vera was a graduate of Sarahsville High School and retired from Summit Acres Nursing Home with twenty-five years of service. She loved working word search puzzles, shopping and reading. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Larry J. Ross whom she married October 21, 1959 and who died June 21, 2011; one son-in-law Chris Farley; two sisters, Nellie Lashley and Lula Belle Parrish.

Surviving are her children, Delia A. Farley, Pamela S. (Paul) Withers, R. Christy (Bill) Baker and Edrie A. (Amanda) Ross all of Caldwell; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; two sisters, Ann Lucas of Sarahsville and Darla Wells of Lowell; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
