Donna Lea Henthorne

Donna Lea Henthorne, of Caldwell, went to be with her Lord and Savior, where there is no more pain or sorrow, on Saturday, September 25, 2021. She looked forward to the day when her spirit would return to the Father. Donna was born November 26th, 1941 to the late Herman and Wineva (Reed) Farson in Keithtown, Ohio. Donna was an active member of the Ullman St. Church of Christ, in Beverly. She was a 1959 graduate of Dexter City High School. She was a retired owner and operator of her own upholstery shop and Henthorne’s tires and gun shop. She will be remembered as a very loving and dedicated Christian mother, grandmother, and great grandmother with a kind spirit and countless talents. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, cooking, walking, traveling, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her two sons, Steve and Rusty Henthorne; one brother; and two sisters. Wonderful memories will live on in the heart of her husband of 61 years, Robert “Bob” K. Henthorne, whom she wed August 12, 1960; in the hearts of three daughters, Tina Henthorne of Summerfield, Laura (Chris) Jamiel of Cambridge, Geniece (Al) Chidester of Thornville; sisters, Inez Woodford, Delores Tidd, Imogene Henthorne, Joan Brown and Shirley Sigman; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has been chosen, per Donna’s wishes. Graveside burial for the cremated remains will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 2 p.m., at Keithtown Cemetery, in Keithtown, Ohio.
