Mary Ann Butler
Mary Ann Butler, 70, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023 at her home.
She was born near Lewisville, Ohio on September 29, 1952 a daughter of the late Clarence Andrew Dick and Freda Smithberger Dick.
Mary was a former STNA at the Monroe County Care Center, the Americare Nursing & Rehab Center, Summit Acres Nursing Home and also formerly worked at the 5 B’s sewing factory, Barnesville, Ohio. She was also a member of the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Miltonsburg, Ohio.
She was a loving and caring person who adored her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John George Dick, James Richard Dick and Joseph Andrew Dick.
Surviving are her husband Rodney Butler, whom she married on August 8, 1970; two daughters, Diana (Jerry) Clark of Woodsfield, Ohio, Michelle (Chuck) Warner of Summerfield, Ohio; one son, David (Tiffany) Butler of Barnesville, Ohio; one sister, Judy (Troy) Russell of Beallsville, Ohio; four brothers, Neil (Carolyn) Dick of Lewisville, Ohio, Michael Dick of Graysville, Ohio, Louis Dick of Lewisville, Ohio, Steven Dick and his fiancé, Lisa, of Lewisville, Ohio; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one on the way; several nieces, nephews and cousins survive.
Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Miltonsburg, Ohio with Fr. Timothy Davison and Fr. Chester Pabin officiating.
Burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery, Miltonsburg, Ohio.
Rosary services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the funeral home.
