Anthony Potochnik, Jr.

Anthony Potochnik, Jr., 91, of Quaker City, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Emerald Pointe Nursing & Rehab. He was born on July 9, 1932, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Anthony and Katherine Belle (Jones) Potochnik, Sr.

Tony was a 1950 graduate of Patton High School in Patton, Pennsylvania. Tony was a member of Batesville United Methodist Church and President and Owner of Reliable Color Process in Pittsburgh. He was a lifetime member of the Troy Hill VFW and served his country during the Korean War in the United States Navy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Eula Marlene (Rataiczak) Potochnik on January 1, 1991; and brothers, James Potochnik, Raymond Potochnik, John Potochnik.

Tony is survived by his wife, Melba Potochnik; three sons, Gary Potochnik of Acme, Pennsylvania and his children, Carolyn (Ian) Bell and Kaely Potochnik, Mark Potochnik of Salt Lake City, Utah and his children, Brad Potochnik and Drew (Jen) Potochnik and Todd Potochnik of Quaker City and his children, Tyler (Morgan) Potochnik and Alex (Bailee) Potochnik; great-grandchildren, Ethan Bell, Evan Bell, Raelyn Potochnik, Colter Potochnik, and Annalee Potochnik; sister, Katherine Gabosch; and brothers, Karl Potochnik and Robert Potochnik.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Friends Cemetery in Quaker City, Ohio. Tony’s care is entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Batesville United Methodist Church, 115 Main Pike Street, Quaker City, Ohio 43773.
