Edgar Eugene Roberts

Edgar Eugene Roberts, age 67, of Caldwell, died Friday, October 31, 2025, at OhioHealth Southeastern Medical Center in Cambridge.  He was born July 21, 1958 in Caldwell, son of Maxine Bond Roberts of Belle Valley and the late Charles L. Roberts.  Eugene attended Shenandoah High School and had worked as a chain handler in the oil fields.  He enjoyed fishing, picking raspberries and spending time with his family.

In addition to his father he is preceded in death by three brothers, Gary, Charles and Randy Roberts.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his children, Michael, Brandon and Rebecca Roberts, Michael (Amber), Jennifer, Chris (Jamie) and Robert (Alex) Bond; his siblings, Marilyn (Dennis) Brown of Cambridge, David (Margaret) Roberts of Ava and Carl Roberts of Belle Valley; 20 grandchildren; his longtime friend, Betty Bond; his little buddy, Kamryn Bond; his Aunt Marlene; several nieces and nephews, including Sheila Roberts; several cousins and his beloved dog Zoey.

Friends may call Friday, November 7, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 01:00 p.m. at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, in Caldwell where the funeral will be observed Friday at 1 p.m. with Ken Perkins officiating.  Burial will be in Halley’s Ridge Cemetery.  The family requests memorials be made to McVay-Perkins Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.  Donations may be made, and an online guestbook may be signed at www.mcvay-perkins.com.
