Moving Tribute to Local Dairy Farmer
Marvin Dimmerling of Summerfield was dairy farmer for more than 40 years, and one of the last dairy farmers in this area. Marvin passed away April 9, and because of the Stay at Home order, his calling hours were private. But his funeral was held graveside, with those paying respects spread out over a wide area on the side of the hill overlooking his grave.
In a moving tribute, more than 30 area farmers brought their tractors parade-style into the cemetery and lined them up as a salute to Marvin and his family.
