Kevin J. Bolen

Kevin J. Bolen age 56, of Caldwell, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born February 23, 1964 in Zanesville, Ohio a son of Judith M. Warner Bolen of Caldwell and the late Arthur “Art” L. Bolen.

He enjoyed deer hunting for many years, but his favorite outdoor activity was fishing. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan. He loved family cookouts and get-togethers.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother James M. “Big Jim” Bolen; father-in-law and mother-in-law Wayne E. and Bessie C. Bettinger; brother-in-law Steve Bettinger.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Tammi J. Bettinger Bolen whom he married April 22, 2006; six children Adam Bolen of Columbus, Ohio, Ryan Bolen of Sarahsville, Ohio, Tiffany Bolen of New Philadelphia, Ohio, Shanae (Shane) Baker of Sarahsville, Kasen Bolen, and Faith Garvin both of Caldwell; three grandchildren Emma Larrick, Qwentyn Marquis, and Sharlett Baker; a brother Arthur “Larry” (Pam Davis) Bolen of Marietta, Ohio; sister Tammy Hardie of Dexter City, Ohio. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 11 a.m. in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Garrett officiating. Burial will follow in Dudley Cemetery. (Per the Governor’s current Covid-19 guidelines, face coverings are required to attend all services, thank you for your cooperation.)
