Frances Leota Greathouse Still

Frances Leota Greathouse Still, age 94, of Logan, Ohio, died Friday, July 19, 2024, at The Pickering House in Lancaster. She was born June 27, 1930, in Noble County, daughter of the late Edward E. and Bernice Bond Greathouse. Frances was a graduate of Belle Valley High School and Ohio University – Athens. She retired as a secretary for Capital University and was a member of the Scenic Hills Senior Center in Logan.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Harlan B. Still, who died December 26, 2016; her sisters, Wanda and Fontella Greathouse; and her brothers, Ray, Detmer, and Stanley Greathouse.

Surviving are her children, Brian L. Still of Logan, Mary J. Gendron of Grubville, Missouri, and Beth A. (Joe) Phillips of Logan; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her siblings, Floella Taylor of Canal Winchester, Carol (Russell) Lewis of Louisiana, Paul Greathouse of Arizona, and James Greathouse of Caldwell; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 10-11 a.m. at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will follow visitation at 11a.m. Burial will follow at Hoskinsville Cemetery.
