Gwyn Lori All-American in Shot

Gwyn Lori, Caldwell’s throwing phenom, placed fifth in the nation at the Nike Outdoor Nationals in Eugene Oregon. She earned All-American honors with her throw of 47-06.25. She also placed 16th in the discus with a distance of 141-01.25.
Lori was also an All-American last year as a junior with a sixth place finish in the shot put with a throw of 46-8.25.
She won five state championships in her high school career. As a senior, she won the indoor weighted throw and the outdoor shot and discus championships. She won the indoor weighted throw and the outdoor shot put as a junior.
Gwyn Lori holds two Caldwell High School records, the shot with a distance of 47-8, and the discus at 152-0.
She will be continuing her career at the University of Kentucky this fall.
